We're Heading to Tucson, Arizona
The 2016 Plein Air Convention will take place at El Conquistador Resort in Tucson. We'll announce more details as we get closer to the date, but we'll be painting the diverse landscape in the lush, wildflower-filled spring before the heat sets in. We'll also paint on the Old Tucson movie set, home of many great Westerns including Gunsmoke, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, Three Amigos, Little House on the Prairie, and many more.
We expect a faculty of about 80 world-class painters, with most to be announced in the coming months, including oil, pastel, watercolor, and acrylic sessions. See our initial line up and photos of the area below.
